 Custom Punch Alteration:  As effective as our standard instruments are, sometimes clients will ask for some slight modification of an existing product.  One such customer requested a biopsy punch with an extended barrel designed for extremely deep tissue excision. Another product born of a customer request, is our 13mm Punch.  This customer asked for a punch with an extra-wide 13mm circular blade.  The resulting product is the largest diameter circular biopsy punch available anywhere.  Contact an associate and let us know how we can tailor our products to fit your situation.

Nasal Planer:  Often times, a customer will request a product which we do not currently manufacture, but have the infrastructure to produce.  We consider each of these requests carefully.  One such product is our new "nasal planer."  This instrument, used in cosmetic surgery, is designed to "shave" layers of cartilage from the nose.  The Huot Instruments nasal planer is a prime example of how we work with customers to achieve dynamic solutions. 

Follicle Transplant Blade:  Yet another demonstration of our production capabilities, is in the development of our follicle transplant blade.  Again, this is a product that we had not made before its request, but had the infrastructure to manufacture.  The customer needed a 1.5mm, dulled punch to perform a specialized follicle transplant procedure.  We responded to the request by designing a specailized instrument which precisely matched the needs of the customer.

Dental Punch:  Our customization services attract requests from all areas of medicine.  We were recently contacted by an oral surgeon.  The surgeon enjoyed our dermal punches, but they were often impractical for use in the mouth.  The surgeon suggested we manufacture a less-cumbersome punch which dental professionals could manipulate within restrictive spaces.  Our engineers reacted by manufacturing a dermal biopsy punch with a foreshortened handle, ideal for oral surgery.
